I'm working on Zorba, an embeddable and high-performant XQuery engine in C++.

I worked in the PHP Runtime Team.
IBM PHP Runtime is a PHP virtual machine written in Java.

Google Summer of Code 2007

I started the APDT project on behalf of Google.
My mentor is Gilles Vanwormhoudt.

Google Summer of Code 2006

I worked on the phpAspect project on behalf of the PHP community.
My mentor was Sebastian Bergmann.

August 2006

I experimented with the integration of phpAspect in an academical project called GAPS.

May - July 2006

SQLFusion, Los Angeles, USA

I installed and setup an open source voice over ip PABX (asterisk) for the company.
I maintained voip phone services and devices.
I developed modules for an open source CRM and worked on various PHP projects.

Chris Dibona and Zaheda Bhorat hosted a visit of the Google London Office to the Google Summer of Code students. We had the chance to give a lightening talk about our projects and achievements.

Toward the end of the Google Summer of Code, I was invited to talk about my project at EPFL. I gave a demonstration of phpAspect.

November 2005

Forum PHP 2005, Paris (link, slides)

I gave a conference about Aspect-Oriented Programming for PHP with Gilles Vanwormhoudt, a doctor in computer researcher at Telecom Lille.
It was the first time that I presented the phpAspect project to the public and all the perspectives behind it.
